Sri. Thirumarugal S. Ganesh Kumar

Thirumarugal S. Ganesh Kumar is an accomplished violinist and proud disciple of Sangitha Kalanidhi Kalaimamani Kumari A. Kanyakumari, a veteran violinist. Ganesh Kumar holds a Master’s degree in music and is pursuing his Doctorate degree. Ganesh Kumar along with his brother S. Dinesh Kumar, regularly perform violin duet concerts in the name ‘Thirumarugal Brothers’. He has been awarded with the B-High Grade of All India Radio. Ganesh Kumar is the “Astana Vidhvan” of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam. He is also the proud recipient of Lalgudi Jeyaraman Award from Krishna Ghana Sabha among many other awards. He has been trained under Pannapattu Venkatesan, Sikkil B. Balu, Kovai B. Dakshinamurthy. 

Ganesh Kumar has also accompanied his Guru A. Kanyakumari in various violin ensemble concerts for the past 10 years at all major sabhas. He is a regular performer of solo and duet concerts, fusion band concerts, light music performances, accompanying Bharathanatyam and Kuchipudi performances, and has been providing violin accompaniment for various leading musicians and promising young talents of Carnatic music. He has been touring regularly to other countries including the US, South Africa and Sri Lanka for concerts.

Sri. Harish Gopikan Ravindran


Harish initiated the art of mridangam at young age and was under the tutelage of Dr. Suresh Ramachandra in Auckland. Harish has also been fortunate to pursue extensive training for many years now and is a proud disciple of Vidwan Sri. Thanjavur K. Murugaboopathi of Chennai. He had his Mridangam Arangetram in Sydney in 2017, alongside his sister Vishni on Veena, and was accompanied by eminent vidwans from Chennai. Harish is a regular performer in Sydney for carnatic concerts and bharathanatyam repertoires and has notably accompanied concerts overseas at prestigious sabhas and venues in Chennai, London, San Francisco and Auckland. Harish is also blessed to have accompanied many visiting artistes from Chennai.
