Chi. Sanjay Ramaswamy
Sanjay Ramaswamy learns vocal music from Dr. M.S Ramanathan and from Sri Alepey Venkatesan. He was initiated into vocal music by Smt Radha Kalyan. He also plays the violin, having learnt it initially from Sri Nagaraj Iyer and then Sri Balaji Jagannadhan for over a decade. He is currently learning from Sri B U Ganesh Prasad. Sanjay has won many prizes in various musical competitions held in Sydney. He regularly accompanies musicians on the violin in the various music forums across Australia. Sanjay holds a dual Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of New South Wales
Chi. Sumukha Jagadeesh
Sumukha's early rhythmic childhood at the age of 4 and half had an inspiring upshot on Sri Arun of Bangalore and he initiated Sumukha into the world of Carnatic percussion. Then, Sumukha continued his training under the tutelage of Sri Suthanthiraraj for the next 10 years. He had the opportunity to play Mridangam and Kanjira in the Thyagaraja and Swathi Tirunal festivals and he won prizes in the mridangam competitions conducted by SwaraLaya. He is keen in learning all percussion instruments. He is currently mentored by Sri Melakkaveri Balaji. Sumukha is in 2nd year Uni doing Chemical Engg and Bachelor of Science at UNSW and his main interests are music, table tennis and cricket.
