With regard to children/student registrations:
i. Registration can be made only through teachers.
ii. Groups of up to 6 children are allowed.
In order to enable maximum community participation within the hall booking time constraints, please note that:
a. 30 slots are available on the seniors’ day, and 40 slots are available on the children’s day. Registrations will close once these slots are filled.
b. Due to time constraints, only group registrations both for adults and children can be accepted. Solo renditions can be accommodated subject to time availability, but will be slotted after all groups have registered, and towards the end of the programme.
c. Vilamba-kaala krithis, even if they exist on the database, are strongly discouraged, and participants who have selected such compositions may be requested to reconsider their selection in favour of a madhyama-kaala composition.
d. Violin and mrudangam accompaniment will be available on the day.
e. any special requests (mainly slotting) to be stated upfront.
We would be grateful for your gracious support as usual, since a programme with such intensive community participation can succeed only through everyone’s efforts. We will be in constant touch with the SMC family over the next few weeks and would be grateful for your kind co-operation.
Regards,
Organisers
