Artiste Profiles:

Smt. Swathi Sreenath


Swathi Sreenath is a disciple of Smt.Sri Vidya Ramanath and Vid.H.S.Sudhindra. Swathi was initiated to Carnatic Vocal at age 5. She topped the state of Karnataka in Carnatic music Senior Vocal Exam. She has also received schlorship from government of Karnataka.

Currently she is an All India Radio B-high graded artist. She has been performing concerts for more than 15 years. She has performed in many respectable Sabhas in Bangalore like Gayana Samaja, Rama Seva Mandali, Suswaralaya College of Music and many more.

Sri. Kranthi Kiran Mudigonda


Kranthi Kiran Mudigonda had his initial training in music with Sri P.S.S.R Jagannatham and Sri N. C. Ramanujam. He had advanced training under eminent vidwan Sri Dwaram Satyanarayana Rao at Hyderabad. He is currently under advanced tutelage in vocal from Hyderabad Brothers and violin from Parur Sri M A Sundareswaran. He has a vast experience in accompanying local and visiting artistes for various concerts across Australia. He also developed interest in percussion and has undergone training in mridangam and kanjira from Sri Kaliprasad Babu, Melakaveri Sri K Balaji and Sri Nerkunam Sankar. He continues to learn mridangam from Maestro Sri Patri Satish Kumar. He founded Geervani Academy of Performing Arts and teaches Vocal, Violin and Mridangam in Sydney.

Chi. Subangan Nirmaleswaran Kurukkal


Subangan had his initiation to the art of Miruthangam under the guidance of Sri Paheerathan Somasunthara Iyer. Subangan later come under the guidance of Sri Ratnasabapathy Suthanthiraraj a well-respected guru of both Miruthangam and Flute and founder of Ghanalayam Music Academy in Sydney. He is currently undergoing his advanced training from the renowned VidwanNadhaoli Melakaveri Sri K Balaji. Subangan has been involved in classical arts both as a concert organiser and accompanying artist for more than 8 years. He has taken part in numerous events and accompanied a number local and visiting artists from abroad on both the Miruthangam and Ghajira. Subangan is the founder ofKarpahavalli (2007), an organisation that works with up and coming musicians by giving them a platform to perform and practice the beautiful art of Carnatic music. Subangan is also a passionate Carnatic Music teacher. He teaches a select group of dedicated students with an emphasis on tradition and classicism, the same teaching methodologies used by his respected gurus. Subangan holds a Diploma Law from the Legal Profession Admission Board and a Business Degree competed at APM College of Business.
